Greektown big issue

One of the problems this neighborhood is that it is losing its identity. Whit the rent prices going higher, many of the authentic Greek stores run by families are closing down leaving free spaces to new stores than only big chains can afford.  One of the examples is Pikilia Mediterranean Grill, a very traditional place that just couldn’t keep up with the rent price. In its place, many Japanese restaurants and other non-Greek stores like Pizzeria Libretto. Another problem is that greek families are not moving here anymore, and its only young couples that are occupying this neighborhood and they don’t spend much money on the stores and restaurants available near them so business get affected from both sides.
